fter a thick wood of Mediterranean scrub, a short roads lead to Poggio Campana (380 sqm - sleeps 10/11). Situated in a quiet position halfway up the hill and at the foot of a splendid olive grove, Poggio Campana enjoys panoramic views over a countryside populated with falcons and eagles.

Fully fitted with all mod cons, the farmhouses are tastefully decorated with mainly period furniture and offer a personal and extremely pleasant atmosphere. Fireplaces and hearths in the kitchens allow warm autumn evenings around the fire. The floors are paved with traditional Tuscan terracotta. The ceilings are beamed with chestnut beams.

Complex may be rented as a whole or each cottage may be rented separately:

A) CASA GRANDE (sleeps 6)
The two storey cottage (240 sqm) has a large sitting room, two porticos with comfortable garden furniture and a splendid view over the valley.
COMPOSITION: Ground floor: sitting room (65 sqm) with fireplace and satellite TV. Kitchen-dining room with marble work surfaces, equipped with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, fireplace. Broom cupboard. Bathroom. First floor: small sitting room, Olive bedroom: double room with private bathroom with shower. Alcove bedroom: double bed. Green bedroom: double room with shared bathroom with shower. B) CASETTA DEL CACCIATORE (sleeps 4-5)
A delightful independent single storey cottage of 130 m?, the cottage has a large portico with comfortable garden furniture. Overlooking the swimming pool, the bedrooms also enjoy enchanting views over the vineyards.
COMPOSITION: Day area: sitting-dining room with well equipped kitchenette (gas hob, dishwasher, oven, fridge), satellite TV and fireplace. Night area: Blue bedroom: double room with fireplace and fan, private bathroom with shower. Red bedroom: double room with additional bed available on request and fan, private bathroom for fitted for disabled use with double doors and shower. Central heating.	Casetta del Cacciatore: kitchenette

Conditions of Stay

The farmhouse complex is rented as a whole package but Casa Grande and Casetta del Cacciatore may also be rented separately (ask for the price), for a minimum of 3 nights or by the week.
Six hours domestic help per week (excluding Sundays) are included in price.
Heating will be charged locally according to m3 used. Supplements: final cleaning € 180.
A deposit of € 500 will be requested at the beginning of the holiday and will be returned -less the cost of any damages - at end of stay.
An advance payment of 20% of the total cost of the holiday is payable on booking. The outstanding balance shall be settled on arrival. Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted.
No catering supplies are provided but it is possible to book a family dinner to be paid for in situ.
Small family pets are admitted at a supplementary cost of € 40 for the whole period of stay.
Weekly stays commence on Saturday afternoon (17.00-20.00) and terminate on Saturday morning at 10.00 unless otherwise agreed.

From Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport in Rome: take Roma - Civitavecchia motorway to junction with SS 1 Aurelia. Take Via Aurelia towards Grosseto for approximately 150 km. Exit at Albinia. From A1 motorway exit at Firenze-Certosa and take Superstrada for Siena; take SS223 towards Grosseto for approximately 70 Km. At Grosseto take SS1 (Via Aurelia) towards Rome for approximately 33 Km. Take A12 (Genova-Pisa-Livorno) motorway south until end. Take SS 1 (Via Aurelia) towards Grosseto-Roma. Exit for Albina 33 Km south of Grosseto From the Albinia exit cross the village on the SS 74 towards Manciano. The first sign for Tenuta Cavallini is situated 24 km out of the village. 600 m after sign on the left (50 m before La Sgrilla) two piles of bricks and travertine stone and two pine trees stand on either side of an asphalted road. Take this road and follow the signs for the farm for 2 km until you reach an avenue of cypresses. At the end of the avenue turn right into an avenue of pine trees which leads to the farm.

Prices, in EUROS, apply to one week,
and to the rental of "CASA GRANDE" + "CASETTA DEL CACCIATORE".
For a 3 nights stay the cost is half of the indicated price + 100 Euros.
